About Us

Founded in 1998 AbilityNet is a pioneering UK charity that with nearly 30 years’ experience of supporting helps disabled and older people through use technology at home, at work and in education. Its mission is to create a digital world accessible to all.

The charity works has a network of over 500 volunteers and a helpline that provides free, trusted tech supportwith individuals, charities and community groups to champion inclusive digital design, to thousands of older and disabled people across the UK. It also has a team of experienced expert consultants who support work with organisations in the private and public sectors to deliver accessible websites, services and apps.
